All of the above are my masthead designs. The fonts I have applied are from 'dafont.com', I thought this site was useful as it contains a variety of different fonts to choose from. In particular, I was looking for a font that would support my multi-genre magazine. I wanted it to have an original aspect that would make it separate from all the other magazines. However, at the same time I wanted it to be basic - I didn't want it to be complicated as my magazine is multi-genre which means the target audience would apply to a large majority (females/males 13-35) compared to other magazines. It has to be simple so it would have a high appeal to all types of people as the music is varied and based on the charts.
Based on this, I have come to the conclusion to choose the first font (BebasNeue) or the last font (Arual).
